Persephone`s Kitchen in Block Island

Best cup of coffee on Block Island!! There are several places to go for a good cup of coffee on this island, but I’ve literally never been disappointed at Persephone’s Kitchen.. Lots of great hot drinks, iced coffees, iced teas, smoothies and even kombuchas.. They’ve got a full menu of sandwiches, salads and bowls as well as plenty of delicious baked goods.. Seems like it’s the most popular coffee shop in town so there’s always a few people in there, but never a long wait.. Definitely the best spot if you’re looking for your morning coffee fix or a mid-day pick-me-up..

Great sweet potato pie bowl & selection!

Really yummy, healthy and clean food, and correctly priced. The vibe is very friendly, local feeling, and it shows: they even have re-usable metal straws! The place is small but super charming and has an indoor area that’s shaded and cozy and a couple of tables on the deck by the door for sun lovers and dog owners.

The food is great. Drinks are average. Schedule in for a long wait. This place is popular

Super cute local cafe! Bacon egg avo arugula sammy, fireball am shot, and blueberry lemon ricotta muffin were all excellent! Will definitely return.

Why didn't I go here at the start of vacation? Delicious breakfast bowls, healthy scrumptious egg sandwiches. Free WiFi and bitchin coffee too? Yeah and the baked goods looked pretty yummy as well. Thus ain't your grungy juice and java. Pow!

Persephone's is one of my favorite places on the island for breakfast. The Quinoa Ranchero bowl is my favorite thing on the menu, but I'm also partial to their breakfast sandwiches and smoothies. Great coffee options, including Nitro cold brew for the hot days!

This is an amazing place to get good coffee and literally anything else you could think of. They really push the boundaries on what a coffee shop can be in terms of what’s on the menu. I did come here to do schoolwork due to the lack of WiFi at my house and the WiFi isn’t good. Also, my go to pastry, blueberry muffin, was too sweet and crummy and reminded me of a more cheaper food.

The food was absolutely amazing. Every day when I am on vacation I eat here. They have amazing meals and absolutely fabulous drinks. Highly recommended.

Formerly the venerable Juice 'N' Java, this quirky low-key coffee house maintains the high quality and friendly service and really just updates the space a little bit, while keeping the reputation for the island's best coffee drinks. Can get very crowded, so don't be in a rush, but be sure and try their incredible smoothie bowls -- far less sweet than others you might have had, or the locally made yogurt which is drizzled with island honey. On a recent morning visit, our party of four agreed these were the best smoothies we've ever tasted. Huge selection of homemade pastries including many vegan and GF options, and a number of toasted sandwiches as well.

The drinks were very good, especially the chia latte and the golden smoothie. However, the smoothies were very, get expensive and the chia was too.
